Where to go...where to go?!
Intro Page
A sad day has arrived. Shirley is LEAVING Jailbait! She is leaving us to pursue a career in the Armed Forces. (actually no, I just make up a different reason for every page, and the message board says differently as well) She is actually leaving to concentrate on her own zine Remorsecodeblues. Yes, she is Shirley West and Violet Nova; she's an international girl of mystery. But be assured, she is not gone for good. She will still produce "Aviator Girl" for us and Shirley and I will still do 2-point-perspective Theater Reviews.
"...And did I ask to be Gay?" is an editorial by me, Angel, about the trials and tribulations of finding a date, dealing with parents, and when exactly he knew something was "different".
an editorial by Andy Eley of "That's like Fighting Godzilla With A Squirtgun"
This is a very well-thought-out, in-depth editorial by Andy. It explores the possibility of having a Parental warning on shows that display ("gasp!") Homosexual Content.
Who Remembers "Book It!" from elementary school? Well, Shirley still has those buttons with the stars on them, and she's gonna take you on a tour of some of her good finds in Video and Print! A whole lotta...uh...information.
Angel and Shirley share their views on "Cabaret" starring Teri Hatcher.
an editorial by Angel
Angel recounts his exploits as driver of a 1991 Ford Escort Station Wagon LX. [the LX stands for "Luxury"] He tells us of good and bad times, and how this particular relationship comes to a final and tragic end.
a story in installments by Shirley
As Shirley sheself puts it: Here begins Queer Fish my latest effort to make the general public suffer. It was originally intended for a gay zine, which is why all the characters are gay. It's a serialized story, buy some sections are written as script becuase they have more inpact that way. all (well, most) characters are (basically) fictitious and resemblance to an persons liveing or dead (except for the people I based my characters on) is purely coincidentalblayblahblahblah.
--Shirley West/Violet Nova
The Page that basically tells you what to do, where to go, when to go, what to eat & drink, and to read.
by Shirley It's probably the most common and most exasperating comment that we queers hear from straight people. They're always wondering why I cant just keep quiet about it. You turn away in disgust -- they obviously don't get it. Now all of you hand in this essay!
Ask your straight friends questions to rate their grip on their heterosexuality. Angel asked people in a Denny's outside of Bradley, IL. Questions like "What do you think caused you to become heterosexual?" **w/ a nod to Queer Nation for the idea.
